Fall wish-list: October

It’s fall which means it’s time to update my wardrobe with some new fall-proof pieces, in this post I’m showing you my wish-list for this month.

The first item on my wish-list are heeled chelsea boots, these are from Monki which means their quite cheap as well.

I have a slight obsession with ‘The Arctic Monkeys’ and that is why the second item on my list is their band Tee. It suits my style perfectly and shows my love for them! I’m thinking ‘bout getting this on Etsy because it’s cheaper on there.

I’ve worn my converse till they fell apart so I’m in desperate need of a new pair of sneakers. These Vans are a total classic and look cute with everything. You can get these at a lot of places for around 80$

Since I’ll keep it simple for Halloween this year I wanted to get this super adorable cat-ears tiara. They used to sell these on Asos but you can get amazing knock off’s online now.

I’m in love with these kinds of glasses, I don’t know where to get them yet but I’m destined to find them!

The last thing on my wish-list is a classic black pencil skirt. It looks really cool paired with band Tee’s because of the contrast. I’ll definitely pick up one of these!

Online shops I’ve been loving

Raise your hand if you love online-shopping.. I can tell you I raised mine.

Online shopping is something i’m obsessed with it’s so quick, easy and the best part: you can do it without having to move your butt from your oh so comfy bed!

I’m going to show me some of my favorite places to online ( window ) shop:

1. Topshop
This is most definitely one of my favorite brands ever! As most of you know it’s London based so it has the cutest Britisch-Style clothes. It has everything from quite edgy pieces to classic ones and the prices range from quite expensive to fairly cheap.
I highly suggest you checking out their website, I promise you you wont regret it!

2. Asos
Asos’ got the best of almost all online shops, it sells multiple brands but also has their own brand that they sell. They have the nicest stuff!

3.EtsyEtsy is like a little market place on the internet where people can sell their stuff, a lot of times it’s homemade and super cute! There’s also a good amount of vintage on there so if you’re a vintage hunter you should definitely check Etsy out!

4. Nastygal
Nastygal is a pretty edgy online shop, it’s also very expensive.. But man do they have cute stuff! A splurge every once in while never hurt no one didn’t it

5. Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters is such a cute store, I always see the most amazing stuff there! The jewelry is really cool to, not only clothes!

6. American Apparel

You just can’t go wrong at American Apparel, it’s a great place to splurge once in a while! They totally sell my style of clothing

I heart fall tag

Today I’m doing the I heart Fall tag because I love love love fall!

1. Favorite Fall lip product?
As I mentioned in my September favorites I love vampy lips in the fall ( and every other season to be honest ) so I’d have to go with Rimmel London’s lipstick in 107. This is such a beautiful super matte, build able dark red color, you can make it as vampy/dark as you want.

2. Favorite Fall Nail Polish?
O.p.i ‘you don’t know Jaques’ is my all time favorite fall nailpolish, it’s the perfect taupe color that looks good with absolutely everything.

3. Favorite Starbucks Fall Drink?
I don’t want to sound like a total common white girl but I’d have to say pumpkin spice latte without a doubt, it’s just soooo good oh my. I could have one of these every single day ( but I don’t, don’t worry ) If you’re at starbucks you must try this one because it’s heaven in a cup.

4. Favorite Fall Candle?
Mahogany teakwood by bath and bodyworks aka Abercrombie & Fitch scent. This is a candle from Bath and Bodyworks’ fall collection which I’m absolutely obsessed with. When I walk in my room after I’ve burned this is literally smell’s like I’ve entered a Abercrombie shop, all that’s missing is the shirtless boys !

5. Favorite Fall Scarf or accessory
I love everything knitted during fall and winter, of course because it keeps you warm and cozy but also because it looks super cute. I especially love knitted headbands or turbans, they look so fun and fashion forward!

6. Haunted house, haunted hay ride, or haunted corn maze?
Since I’ve only ever been in a haunted house I’d have to go with that one.

7. Favorite Halloween movie?
I don’t know if this counts as a Halloween movie but I watch it on Halloween every year: Nightmare before christmas. Because who doesn’t love a good Tim Burton movie?
8. Favorite candy to eat on Halloween?
Candy corn, candy apples, marshmallow-popcorn bites, I basically love all Halloween food. It’s impossible to choose just one!
9. What are you dressing up as for Halloween?! I haven’t decided yet but I might dress up as where is waldo. Wouldn’t that be super cute!

10. What is your Favorite thing about Fall? The clothes and the food are my favorite things. I love how you can wear coats and skirts with tights and drink hot drinks all day long!

September favorites

Even tho it’s already October 11 I want to share with you today my September favorites.

Let’s start with fashion favorites: My first favorite is black skater dress by American Apparel, this is such a cute staple for my fall wardrobe.

Next I’ve been loving loafers, all kinds of them. Penny loafers, the classic ‘man-shoe’ kind, tuxedo shoes. I wear them everyday with skirts or high-waisted jeans. It looks super cute and school girl like.

On to beauty favorites: One of the things I love most about fall is I can wear dark lipstick again. Summer has been like vampy lips rehab for me but thankfully I can wear them again now. Two lipsticks I’ve been loving are Kate moss for Rimmel London in the color 107 and Kiko’s lipstick in 914.

Not only do I love dark lips I also adore dark mani’s. A nail combo I’ve been really liking is Kiko’s gel topcoat with their nailpolish in 286underneath it. It looks just like you’ve got your nails done at the salon!

September was the month of loads of new music. Haïm and Lorde came out with their debut albums and their both amazing! One song from Haïm’s album that I especially like is Forever . From Lorde’s album Tennis court is my favorite. I also can’t stop listening to the Arctic Monkeys fifth album AM. It’s pure perfection!

A random favorite I wanted to share with you is a book you’ve all probably heard of: The fault in our stars by John Green. I love this book so so much! The characters are so realistic and I love the fact that one of the big locations in the book is my home town. I shed a lot of tears while reading this..!

My first blogpost

Hi guys!

As you’ve probably seen this is my first blogpost. Let me explain who I am, why I started this blog and what it is about.

Let’s start at the beginning: My name is Sue I’m 16 years old and I live in the beautiful Amsterdam. I love fashion, beauty, music, books and loads of other stuff. Those are the things that I’m going to be writing about.

My blog is called ‘Suekid’ because it’s a nickname my friends gave me a while back and I decided it would be a good name for my blog for the simple reason that I thought it sounded kinda cool.

You also might be wondering why a Dutch girl is starting an english written blog, well that is because ever since I was a little girl I’ve had a certain love for the english language. By writing this blog I want to improve my english. I also don’t want to limit myself to just Dutch readers.
